I feel Winter coming


After an awesome weekend of weather and friends I think old man winter is around the bend.

Looking out my window and its crapola. Forecast calls for low 40's to the 30's by the weekend so I guess this means I've got to get all the pre-winter rituals like finish closing the pool done.

Got a great bike/run session yesterday. Kind of a big deal for me since I'm just getting a feel for regular training again.

Watched an old movie call The Saint while I was on the trainer. Mid 90's release w/ Val Kilmer and Elisabeth Shue. Whatever happened to her ? She's stunning.

Also went to brunch at the Kellys new home. Very nice, 8 acres , off the main back country road.
Needs lots of work,but thats something they're looking forward to. Reminded me of our family vacation home in Mendocino California.....except no view of the Pacific Ocean. I miss that place.

Lots of good memories there.

In other news.......I spent last Saturday and Thursday at Lime Rock Racepark in Connecticut. It was a PDA event which I'm considering doing next year.

For $ 275.00 you get to drive around the track all day with your car. This is a total blast ! Safest way to go fast.

Met some really cool folks and saw some really fast cars in action.
