Why do Bad Things Happen to Good People ?

There are times when I just don't get why life can at times take such twisted turns.

Such is the case with the family in Oregon that has been missing since November 25th. Kati Kim her husband James and their kids were coming home from a vacation when they missed an exit and ended up on a closed road . This led to them getting stuck in some deep snow where they survived in their car staying warm with the heater until the gas ran out. They tried everything to get sighted but to no avail.

For fear of losing his family in the cold, James Kim did what any father would have done and thats to try to find some help on foot.

Unfortunately according to CNN's website they just found his body near a river . He died from hypothermia.

This is truly tragic as the press photos I saw revealed a wonderful happy close knit family. I'm praying for them in hopes that they may find some solace and peace in the road ahead.
