Yee Ha !



I'm so happy ! I just got confirmation that I am definitely in for IronMan USA 07 .

It really pays to have faith in the higher power : ) So to my peeps in blogland- I'll be there smack dab in the middle of Mirror Lake at 6:59 AM. Can't wait.

The past week was somewhat busy. Lots of work related projects took priority. I'm riding a wave of ideas that I'd like to get underway in the next few weeks,especially after my marathon.
I promised myself that after Hyannis that I'd stop sandbagging on the European portfolio and get that material out to my collectors that have been waiting since November. Way to go on keeping possible money waiting !
Its how I operate though. I like to let new work simmer and stew for a while. It allows me to be a little more objective about how I should interpret it. Early in my career- I thrived on naivite,emotion and the rush of new work while I printed in the darkroom. For the most part I lucked out a lot, as a good portion of that work still holds strong today.

At least I'm seeing things again. In other words, I've been distracted and un-interested in making new photographs since the Fall. Twenty five years of being an artist will do that to you.
Its not the first time I've hit the proverbial fork in the road.
I've always come back stronger,but the time offs have been longer these days. But its fine. I accept it.

I'm in my 2 Week taper so its nice to reduce my mileage as my legs are tired. Its the biggest volume I've ever handled and I came out of it stronger,faster and all in one piece. No Injuries !
