The Dixie Chicks
Now there's a great example of how I've grown in taste.

When they first hit the airwaves I completely dismissed them as country's version of a boy band..just girls.
Man was I wrong.
They've made it to my iPod ! , and all winter long they've been with me on my longest,coldest and most dreadful runs....
As far as I'm concerned they're good friends. Natalie and the girls.

I was thrilled when they won their recent Grammy ! They deserve it and I admire how they stuck together thru thick and thin. It takes guts to be that outspoken.

So today was my last official run before Sunday's marathon. Almost 4 miles and the last song I listened to was ....you guessed it....a DC song.

I'm ready. Wish me luck !
