I'm Back

Well..........a lot has happened since February.

I've been pretty much in Chuck Norris training mode.
I bumped up to 16hrs a week in March, then 18+ in April and most of May was mega.

Now that June is here, its been the key workouts in my Build Phase.Lots of bike mileage. 175-220 /week with some 275-300/wk planned by end of June early July.

Running is better than ever.

Keeping it consistent,4-5x/wk with 1 long run of 1.5-2 hrs.

I can't imagine ever training this much again! After LP I think I'll focus on 70.3's like Musselman and Timberman.

Those are distances I feel I can actually race hard from stisart to finish.

This past weekend was Epicman.

3K/180K/20K . Its one of the Must Do events for an endurance geek. Dev Paul organizes this grass roots race.

Didn't do the full distance,but nevertheless enjoyed it.

The rain sucked and had a flat during the downhill to Keene,so that put me out of contention w/ the 6:15 pack. SO since I rode alone I turned it into a recon ride and some sightseeing.

The run off the bike was good,but I need to remember to chill on the downhill out of town as its so steep and is a quad buster. I think I'll get my legs by the time I hit the fairgrounds.

Today I need to catch up on mowing the front 20 and catch up on shipping stuff to clients.,then sneak in a swim and a 55 mile ride.
